With a strong focus on colour and composition, I aim to capture the personality of the subject and its unique character in paint. The robust form and colour of Australian natural flora are a constant source of inspiration.
Challenging the discipline through experiments with materials, contemporary compositions and applications, I particularly enjoy working on vellum given the clarity and luminosity of colour that can be achieved on such a refined material.
